Dear GATE Families and Students,

Hi, I'm Mrs. J!  I am so excited to be your GATE teacher for the 26-27 school year!  This will be my 25th year in education, and my 9th year to teach in the GATE classroom.  When I'm not teaching my GATE students, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family and pets (one "purrfect" cat, one snuggly miniature schnauzer, and A LOT of crazy chickens😆🐔).  I enjoy reading, music/art, science and nature!  I have many interests, but I especially love learning.  Always keep learning and growing!  

I am very blessed to work with my GATE students. This year "I Will Be There for You" and we will also earn our "Passports to Success" at my schools!  The school themes being used this year can also apply to our GATE classroom too. I will definitely be there for all my GATE students and families. I also encourage my students to earn a stamp in their passport by being kind, staying curious, and believing that adventure awaits this year!  I am looking forward to getting to know all my GATE students and families and welcoming you back.  If there is anything I can do to help you or your child during our GATE journey, just let me know.  I hope you and your student have an amazing year!
