Hi, I'm Mrs. J! I am so excited to be your GATE teacher for the 25-26 school year! This will be my 24th year in education, and my 8th year to teach in the GATE classroom. When I'm not teaching my GATE students, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family and our pets (one "purrfect" cat, the sweetest miniature schnauzer, and A LOT of crazy chickens😆🐔). I enjoy reading, music/art, science and nature! I have many interests, but I especially love learning. Always keep learning and growing!

I am very blessed to work with my GATE students. This year we will "Make It A Great Day to SMILE" and get our C.A.M.P. (Cultivating Achievers With Motivation & Purpose) on at my schools! The school themes being used this year can also apply to our GATE classroom too. We are going to make it a great day to smile (and more) and I just know that my students are going to be great CAMPers! I am looking forward to getting to know all my GATE students and families. If there is anything I can do to help you or your child during our GATE journey, just let me know. I hope you and your student have an amazing year!
