Dear GATE Families and Students,

Hi, I'm Mrs. Johnson!  I am so excited to be your GATE teacher for the 24-25 school year!  This will be my 23rd year in education, and my 7th year to teach in the GATE classroom.  When I'm not teaching my GATE students, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets...my husband and two awesome kids, a "purrfect" cat, a sweet miniature schnauzer and ALL our crazy chickens!  I enjoy reading, music/art, science and nature!  I have so many loves and interests, but I especially love learning new things.  Never stop learning and growing!  

I feel very blessed to be able to work with my GATE students. This year is "Our Time to Shine" and "GLOW!"  These are a couple of school themes being used this year that apply to our GATE classroom too.  This year, I also look forward to getting to know all my parents and students.  If there is anything I can do to help you during our GATE journey just let me know.  I hope you and your student have an amazing year!
