Outcomes for the Institute:

Participants will:

1. Interact with the Essential Coaching Practices for Elementary Literacy to help launch an effective coaching program

2. Identify common concerns and/or needs when coaching is new to a school or a team and pre-plan for strong collaboration

3. Describe the key ideas underlying the Essential Instructional Practices in Early Literacy, Grades K-3

4. Formulate ideas for dealing with key intractable practices that coaches will often encounter when working with teachers around the Essential instructional Practices in Early Literacy, Grades K-3

5. Begin to engage in the supports available to you as you set your learning goals in the coaching network
