Put on controllers and hand straps, tighten hand straps - be sure they are on the correct hands
Adjust the ocular spacing if needed - 3 positions - start with the default, center position
Adjust volume or plug in headphones/earbuds - on bottom of headset
Power button
Power down the Oculus Quest by pressing power button and select to shut down in the headset
Hold the power button for 5 seconds and you will hear a sound and the power light will turn off
Sleep mode - the proximity sensor will put headset into sleep mode when it senses the headset is not on against your face
Pull down the back of the head strap and tighten - IMPORTANT - be sure to loosen head strap before removing
Always use the hand straps (it is $80 to replace a broken controller)
Keep the lenses away from all bright lights or direct sunshine
13 and older and use a parent permission form (samples)
Take regular breaks. Recommend use for only 20 minutes at a time
Give students an option to "opt-out" or to watch the app being used by someone else from a screen/projected image
Take off the headset and sit down if you are feeling dizzy

Cast to a Google Chromecast (some districts may block Chromecasts)

Cast to https://oculus.com/casting website (image will be smaller and not fill the screen) - Casting is initiated by user in the headset's sharing window

Install SideQuest app and scrcpy (Windows only) ==> open SideQuest and select casting, scrpy will allow casting into a new window
