Simple. Clear. Respectful. Fun.
Respect Matters: All students are expected to be kind and respectful to their teachers, classmates, instruments—and themselves!
Grown-Ups Required: An adult must be home during all lessons. Lessons should happen in a common area like the living room—not in bedrooms. Teachers are never permitted in a child’s bedroom.
Monthly Payments: Tuition is due at the start of each month. We accept checks, credit cards, and online transfers.
Late Payments: If payment is more than 2 weeks late, a 10% late fee will be added. It grows by 5% every two weeks until it’s paid. After 2 months with no payment, lessons may be paused.
Stopping Lessons: Let us know at least 15 days before the next billing cycle (the 1st of each month) if you're planning to stop. If you leave mid-month, we’ll refund the unused portion (minus any admin, registration, or credit card fees).
Refunds: Materials fees, Deposits and trial lessons are non-refundable. Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
Cancelling a Lesson? Give at least 48 hours’ notice to get a makeup credit. Less than 48 hours = no refund or makeup.
Makeups: You get up to 3 makeups per semester, scheduled directly with your teacher. Use them before the end of the school year—unused makeups expire. No refunds for unused makeup credits.
Need to Reschedule Weekly? Talk with your teacher. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but changing your weekly slot may mean switching teachers.
If a Teacher Cancels: We’ll offer a makeup lesson—promise!
Smile for the Camera: We sometimes take lesson videos or photos to help with practice, share progress, or feature in our materials and promotions.
Consent Reminder: By enrolling, you agree that we may use your child’s image, voice, and first name for educational and promotional purposes—online and offline—forever, everywhere.
👉 Don’t want your child included? Just let us know and we’ll opt you out!
Listening is an important (and fun) part of learning music. Just like learning to draw is learning to see, learning to play is learning to listen. By absorbing the greatness of hundreds of years of music, we can give our children an experiential database of wonder.
