7th-8th Grade Physical Science

The scientific focus for 7^th – 8^th grade this year is Physical Science!

We will cover 3-5 new lessons per week with a variety of independent and collaborative classwork, weekly homework, on-going projects, individual and group presentations, hands-on activities, experimental processes, field studies, current scientific event studies, and regular standard-based assessments.

This course will cover Matter, the Periodic Table of Elements, Atoms, Chemical Reactions, Acids and Bases, Energy, Forces, Astronomy, and more!

A science textbook and notebook will be provided.
