Welcome Team Integrity 7th Graders! 

Students will dive into the Common Core State Standards, as we discover the power of words through reading, writing, and speaking. It's going to be a great year in Mrs. Chen's English class!

About Me

My vision for my classroom is to nurture joyful learning, every day.  I believe in building a classroom that is relational, academic, and fun. With social justice and equity in mind, I started my career path as an English teacher in the public schools, which led me to pursue other professions,  like directing local community programs and mentoring new teachers.  A Bay Area native, I graduated from U.C. Berkeley, majoring in my all-time favorite subject, English, and brought my Cal Bears spirit right into my studies at Stanford, attaining a Masters in Education and Teaching Credential in English. As an educator, I strive to create a fun, safe, engaging environment to meet the learning needs of all students and to give my students equitable access to education.  When I’m not at school, I love being with my family, catching up with friends, and eating good food!
