Rose School has been transitioning our curriculum to a new generation of standards - The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) which have established rigorous expectations for student work at every grade level.
This three-minute video explains how the Common Core State Standards will help students achieve at high levels and help them learn what they need to know to get to graduation and beyond.

SMARTER BALANCED ASSESSMENTS
The Smarter Balanced Assessments are the next generation of assessments that will measure student growth toward the Common Core Standards. All Rose students in grades 3-6 will participate the Smarter Balanced Assessments in English Language Arts and Mathematics. Practice tests to familiarize students parents and teachers with the format of the new tests are available on-line.
