Resource Specialist
My name is Cindy Tsai. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I go by Ms. Tsai for students, but parents and families can feel free to call me Cindy or Ms. Tsai - whichever is more comfortable!
Our class will also be supported by paraprofessional Ms. Kavitha!
A little about my interests...
I am a big Warriors & Valkyries fan! 🏀 I like watching and playing basketball; I'm actually a former athlete of Milpitas High School, and I am currently one of MHS' girls basketball coaches. Go Trojans!
During my free time, I enjoy listening to music and watching various Korean & Chinese dramas & Marvel movies/shows. Additionally, I love attending concerts with my friends. South Korean groups BTS & Tomorrow X Together are my favorite artists to see in concert 🎶
I also love trying new restaurants, milk tea shops, and cafes with my family and friends! ☕
I am a MUSD alumnus, so I am grateful that I am able to give back to the community in which I grew up.
I hold a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Education from the University of California, Santa Cruz. I am also a graduate of San Jose State University's Mild/Moderate Support Needs credential and M.A. program. This is my third year as a Resource Specialist but before I began my career in special education, I taught preschool!
I look forward to a wonderful school year with you all!
