teaching philosophy
It is my goal to create a safe learning environment where your child can flourish and grow. I always strive to foster a love for learning and spark curiosities. I believe all students can learn and families are the best resource to help them do so.teaching philosophy
Background
I was born in the Philippines and immigrated to the United States. I attended Milpitas Unified School District schools from eighth to twelfth grade. I completed my undergraduate studies at San Jose State University and subsequently ventured on to get my Teaching Credentials.This is my twenty-first year teaching at Joseph Weller Elementary. I consider myself very fortunate to have found a school with such hard-working and collaborative colleagues and a wonderfully supportive community. I also love the way my students influence and enrich my life, just as much as I do theirs.Background
personal
When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with family and friends. Some activities I enjoy are: skiing, hiking, camping, water sports, concerts, traveling and exploring new places--near and far. personal
