Mrs. Jahana Kaliangara

The Basics:

Hi! My name is Mrs. Kaliangara. I will  be your child’s science teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. I started teaching in 2016 and am excited to begin my second year teaching here at Pomeroy. I love traveling, hiking, cooking new foods, and watching movies.

My Family:

I grew up in San Jose, CA. I have two younger sisters and very loving & supportive parents. I recently got married last year to my high school sweetheart! We have a dog named Sebastian.

Education:

I earned my Associates Degree from De Anza Community College and went on to transfer to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  I  have a B.S.  in Liberal Studies & a minor in Biology from Cal Poly. I earned my  M.A in Education, and Multiple Subject and Single Subject (Biological Sciences) teaching credentials from USF.
