All about me
Welcome to my site. I'm French Canadian. I did most of my growing up in Quebec, Canada and I was taught by the French nuns in Quebec, Canada. I continue to visit my French speaking friends in Quebec.
I belong to the local American Association of French Teachers, recently asked to join their Board as Member At Large. I am a member of the local Alliance Francaise, and meet my French speaking friends in the Bay Area on a regular basis. As well, I meet with French teachers to exchange lesson plans, etc. to be updated on the latest for the benefit of my French students. I enjoy participating in the numerous French cultural activities in the Bay Area and encourage my students and their families to join in the fun.
Regarding art, I have a credential for teaching Art. I have been involved in art for a very long time. I have been taught by a well-known artist in Quebec, Aline Piche Whissell. I have visited museums in Canada, US, France. I attend art teacher workshops to keep updated. I love the world of art. It is where I feel the most comfortable. I am member of two museums in the Bay Area. Hopefully students will benefit from my knowledge and love of art.

I teach level 1, 2 and 3. My goal is to help my students be as successful as they can be and to feel comfortable in my class. I have Tutorial in J16 my classroom, after school with an appointment, and during SSR, and invite all my students to come over for any kind of help.
In French class we sing French songs, we practice with playing games and get prizes! We enjoy cooking and eating French food that we share with each other. We practice French by watching French movies, we celebrate birthdays, and cheer the MHS sport participants. We go beyond the classroom by offering field trips and an opportunity to travel to Europe! We have fun while learning!
All about my Art Class: 🎨 👩🏾🎨 ✍🏾✍ 👨🎨 👨🦯👩🦼🎨
It is a basic art class, you will learn basic art skills using traditional art mediums; we will explore contemporary art with project based learning.(PBL). As well, the Flip classroom is another method we will use. An art class is not complete without including it's history.📚
This is a class for students that are comfortable staying at their seat for long periods of time, students that are comfortable focusing on their project in a room full of people. ✍🏾
It expected that students understand safety rules, and positive behavior in class. 🙋🏽♂️🙋🏻♀️
I have developed a relationship with the San Jose Art Museum as they provide visits that include art history and art instructions my students told me they enjoy a lot. 👩🏾🎨👨🎨
My art classes are Standard- based and include District Board Educational Goals. 📜📃📰
I hope my students will enjoy art as much as I do. I have been doing art since I was a child, it all began when an artist moved next door. 🎨🎞👩🏾🎨✍🏾
