Professionally:
Welcome to Room 20!
I’m so excited to meet all of our new 4th grade families and to begin a wonderful year together. I look forward to getting to know each of you and learning more about your amazing children.
This year marks my 28th year in MUSD! Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades—including several combination classes. Each year brings something new, and I’m just as passionate about teaching now as when I started.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Child Development from San Jose State University, and about 16 years ago, I completed my Master's degree in Instructional Technology.
I'm excited for all the learning, growth, and fun ahead in Room 20. Let’s make this a fantastic year—together!
Personally:
Welcome!
I feel very fortunate to have been inspired to become a teacher by my amazing mother, who was a dedicated 3rd grade teacher and a wonderful role model. From a young age, I knew that teaching was my calling—and I truly love what I do!
I’m the youngest of five children and have a twin sister who is 15 minutes older than me. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with friends, listening to live music, swimming, biking, and sharing lots of laughs. I’m also a big fan of sushi, and my favorite snacks are gummy bears and pistachios!
Teaching is my passion, and I’m here to inspire, engage, and motivate your child to do their best each and every day. My goal is to help them smile, grow, and become confident, independent learners. I’ll be working hard for your child—and with your support, I know we can make this an amazing school year together!
