Hi! I'm Mrs. Mai. Welcome to my fourth grade class. I'm so excited to work with your child this year. I love teaching  because I care deeply about each of my students. I believe students can grow and develop by hands on activities and thoughtful discussion in class. The main goal of the year is to help your child grow to his or her maximum potential. Over the course of this year, we will have a lot of fun learning!

Here is some information about me:

I grew up in Milpitas and San Jose (Pomeroy, Sierramont, Indy, MHS).

I went to SJSU for my bachelors degree and teaching credential. Then, Concordia University Irvine for a masters degree in education.

I have a wonderful family of five--my husband, Eleanor (5.5), Abigail (3), and Nolan (3).

I enjoy traveling, eating, relaxing, working out, and anything fun.

I have taught grades 1 through 5.
