I was born and raised in San Jose.  I received my bachelors degree in 1998 from San Jose State University where I also met my husband Chris.  I started teaching at Sinnott that same year!  Over the years, I have taught grades 1-3, but first grade is my absolute favorite.  In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, cooking and eating, decorating my home, and the occasional retail therapy.  I have 19 year old identical twin girls, Abigail and Madalyn.  They are both heading off to their sophomore year at UC Berkeley this fall.  I also have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Spencer who is really cute, but super naughty.  Your child will learn a lot about Spencer because he's always getting into trouble and the stories are too funny not to share with the kids!
