I am a Bay Area native who was raised in San Jose.
I received my education at San José State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development and my Master’s degree in Education.
I became a teacher because I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential by building positive relationships and creating fun, engaging, meaningful, and inclusive learning experiences. My teaching philosophy centers around fostering a growth mindset and creating a positive classroom community.
I enjoy trying new cafés and restaurants, traveling, thrifting, shopping, going to the beach, and watching movies. My favorite food is Japanese cuisine, especially sushi, and I can never say no to an iced tea/matcha latte! I am also a proud Filipino-American and am grateful to bring my background and experiences into the classroom.
