About me

Hi! My name is Ben Ruddy, and I am teaching 4th & 5th grade in room 302 at William Burnett Elementary this year. I am very excited for the year ahead, and I look forward to sharing a creative and engaging learning space with all of the brilliant minds in my class!

I was born and raised in Ireland, and moved to the Bay a few years back. I'm married to another wonderful teacher, and when we're not lesson planning, we love to spend our time walking in the redwoods and exploring the beautiful coast. 

I'm a big outdoors person, and love to do any sports that get me out in nature. I'm also a huge rugby fan. Lastly, my favorite food is Korean. It's all so delicious!
