What’s in the senior section?
Formal Portrait - This is a formal school picture that will be taken by our school photographer during a scheduled session (more information below).
Second Photo of Your Choice - This is a second photo that can be anything you wish to share in the yearbook. This photo can be from an outside photographer or a photo that you have taken on your own. Be sure that you are the only person in the picture. No selfies, please!
Childhood Picture - This is a picture of you from when you were little. We typically receive pictures that are from ages 0-5 years old.
Likes and Best Memories - Each senior has the opportunity to share a short list of their favorite things and best memories from high school. More information about this will be available later in the fall.
Quote - Each senior will also have space to include a meaningful quote. Keep in mind that quotes will have a word limit and must be school-appropriate. We will also ask that you give credit to the original source. More information about this will be available later in the fall.
How do senior portraits work?
Our school photographer O’Connor Studios will be scheduling portrait sessions at Nipmuc this summer and into the fall. All members of the Class of 2026 are required to attend their scheduled sessions, even if they plan to do a photoshoot with another photographer. There will be no charge for O’Connor’s “Basic” package unless you decide to purchase pictures. You also have the option to pay for a higher level package
After your session, you will be able to see your photos online and select which one you would like in the yearbook for your formal portrait. You may also use a photo from your O’Connor session for your “Second Photo,” if you’d like. Option 1 will be the "Formal Portrait" and Option 2 will be the "Second Photo." If you submit your own second photo, we will disregard Option 2 from O'Connor.
