Rápidamente, se levantó de la cama y corrió al baño. Se duchó en menos de dos minutos y se vistió con lo primero que encontró. El sábado pasado, Lucio se despertó temprano. Cuando miró por la ventana, vio el sol brillar y escuchó los pájaros cantar. Se levantó de la cama y se estiró (estirarse = to stretch). Estaba muy emocionado porque sabía que iba a ser (it was going to be) un día perfecto.
Primero, Lucio fue al baño. Se lavó la cara con agua fría y se cepilló los dientes. Luego, fue a la cocina para preparar el desayuno. Hizo su café favorito y una tostada con mermelada. Mientras comía, pensó que ese momento fue uno de los más tranquilos de la semana.
Después de desayunar, Lucio se puso sus zapatillas deportivas y se fue para correr por el parque. Durante la carrera (run), se sintió libre y feliz. El aire fresco de la mañana le dio energía. Al terminar, se estiró bien y decidió ir al mercado a comprar frutas frescas.
