Each fall, the Murdock Trust partners with a private college or university in the Northwest to co-host the Murdock College Science Research Program.
The conference focuses on sharing and advancing new knowledge in the natural sciences that were created or discovered through collaborative faculty-student research at the twelve MCSRP funded colleges and universities and about twenty-five other institutions in the Pacific Northwest.
Participants of this conference include science students and faculty from a select group of private and public predominantly undergraduate colleges and universities in the five-state area. The core of the conference centers around student oral and poster research presentations. A keynote talk by a major national research figure is also presented.
The MCSR Conference fosters a positive professional experience for all participants, with the expectation that all attendees follow the conference code of conduct.
This year, the conference will be co-hosted by Whitman College.
