Bakia ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Coat Color mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our App.

1. About the App

Coat Color is a mobile application for predicting dog coat color genetics using Punnett square calculations. It helps breeders understand potential offspring colors based on parent genotypes.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device using encrypted local storage (MMKV):

• Dog genotype data: Genetic coat color configurations you input for dogs (male, female, and offspring)

• App usage counters: Basic counters used to determine when to show the in-app review prompt

This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

2.2 Analytics Data (With Your Consent)

If you grant permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt on iOS, we collect anonymous analytics data via Firebase Analytics (provided by Google), including:

• Screen views within the App

• General usage events (e.g., button taps, feature interactions)

If you deny tracking permission, analytics collection is completely disabled. On Android, analytics data may be collected in accordance with Google's policies.

2.3 Push Notification Tokens

If you grant push notification permissions, we collect your device's push notification token through Firebase Cloud Messaging (provided by Google) to send you notifications about app updates and relevant content.

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number

• We do not require account creation or login

• We do not collect location data

• We do not collect photos, contacts, or any other sensitive device data

• We do not sell or share any data with third parties for advertising purposes

5. Data Retention

• Local data: Stored on your device until you uninstall the App or clear its data

• Analytics data: Retained according to Firebase/Google Analytics data retention policies

• Push notification tokens: Retained by Firebase Cloud Messaging as long as the App is installed

6. Your Choices and Rights

• Analytics tracking: You can control analytics collection by granting or denying the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking

• Push notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications at any time in your device's notification settings

• Delete local data: You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. Local data is stored using encrypted storage on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
