Dr. Mansa is the Board President of Mumineen Community Development Corporation, parent organization of Hijrah House, and also serves as Assistant Imam of Masjid Mumineen. A co-founder of Hijrah House, he represents the board on the Volunteer House Management Team. He holds degrees from Indiana University Bloomington (Bachelor), Colorado State University (Master), and South College (Doctorate). Dr. Mansa has certifications in Mental Health First Aid and Peer Recovery Coaching.
Raymond serves as Executive Director of Mumineen Community Development Corporation and Hijrah House Corporation and is a co-founder of both organizations. Powell has over 26 years of justice-involvement, lived experience, and program management. Raymond is a graduate of Ball State University (Bachelors), and is a ICAADA Certified Peer Recovery Coach and Moral Reconation Therapy Facilitator.
Imam Ismail Abdul Aleem
Advisor & Volunteer House Manager
Imam Ismail Abdul Aleem is the Imam and Board President of Masjid Mumineen. The Imam has served as a Chaplain in the Indiana Department of Corrections for over 25 years, now retired. He is one of the original founders of Hijrah House, a project that was started over 20 years ago.
Malik Cooper
Volunteer House Manager & Co-Founder
Malik Cooper is a co-founder of the Hijrah House and has over 15 years of lived experience. Malik is an electrician by trade, motivational speaker, and world traveler. Malik is a graduate of Vincennes University and is an ICAADA trained Peer Recovery Coach.
Co-Founder & Volunteer House Manager
Antony serves on the Volunteer House Management Team, and is a co-founder of both the Hijrah House and Mumineen Community Development Corporation. Antony has over 10 years of lived experience and justice-involvement. Mr. Dix is a businessman, Indiana Dept. of Corrections case manager and graduate of Oakland City University (Bachelors). Antony is also an ICAADA Certified Peer Recovery Coach.
Co-Founder & Volunteer House Manager
Tyrone is a co-founder of the Hijrah House, serves on the Volunteer House Management Team, and is a co-founder of Mumineen Community Development Corporation. Tyrone has over 10 years of justice-involvement and lived experience. Tyrone is an ICAADA trained and Certified Peer Recovery Coach.
Mark serves as Hijrah House on-site, live-in house manager.
