PACKAGING
Mojo Bazaar was a mere hobby of mine that eventually turned into a small batch supplier of leather goods. The brand needed an identity and packaging system that reflected its commitment to utilitarian design and artisanal craft while appealing to modern consumers who value uniqueness and story-driven products.
Heirloom craftsmanship designed to tell stories for ages.
THE CHALLENGE
How could Mojo Bazaar translate old-world craftsmanship into an authentic, contemporary brand presence? The challenge was to balance utilitarian function and artisanal charm, making each product like vegan cork wallets and hand-stitched key holsters feel special and story-rich.
A popular item called the Key Holster and a concept for a discount punch card
The Mammoth Bones logo was a design that I was so attached to that I couldn't bear to leave it in a forgotten glacier in time once life led me towards my newfound passion for graphic design. I decided to take it with me and gave it a new home and purpose.
The capsule collection of clothing and accessories was inspired by a cryptic backstory of otherworldly visions, the mysterious realm of extraterrestrials, and Mother Nature.
THE APPROACH
Discovery
The brand’s roots in handwork in traditional saddle stitching and natural materials were fused with modern streetwear culture.
Strategy
The brand embraced heirloom craft and narrative, blending cryptic, nature-inspired motifs with clean, modern layouts and utilitarian details.
Design
I built a flexible identity system and packaging suite: from monogrammed wordmarks to branding on natural cork wallets and the playful, story-fueled punch card concept.
Refinement
Visual elements such as type, icons, and the Mammoth Bones logo were tested across packaging, digital, and product touchpoints for seamless recognition.
Mojo Bazaar demontrates the power of blending heritage techniques, personal storytelling, and modern design. With an identity rooted in both craft and imagination, it helped garner interest in my solo-led studio that offered small batch capsule collections.
