Grades 6-9 GEx Vancouver Local June 2024
G6-9 GEx Local is a mandatory programme for all Middle School students which takes place during the school day (no travel/overnight component) in the last week of school in June before the summer break. The programme is launched to parents and students after the March Break and programming begins in the spring with several prep sessions at Mulgrave before the final "week without walls" in the end of last week of school. While students in Grades 6-8 are placed in similar grade-based programmes based on life skill cohorts, Grade 9s get to choose to join one of 4 theme-based options to Like camp, there is no addition fee for families required for this GEx.
This year's G6-9 GEx Local "week without walls" runs for 4 days from June 17-20, 2024. The final day of school will be a special schedule with the Recognition of Achievements (RoAs) and Closing Ceremony.

GEx MEETING ROOMS: From Monday-Thursday, all GEx grade cohorts have a meeting room noted here. This is where students go in the morning before departure and any other time they are at school before dismissal. This will be shared in an email to students and families.
