FROM THE PRINCIPAL'S DESK
Good evening, Bear Family.
As we wrap up another school year, I want to take a moment to recognize everything we’ve accomplished together. This year has been filled with growth, resilience, and moments that show we are Bear STRONG—Successful, Trustworthy, Respectful, Optimistic, Never Give Up, and Goal-Oriented.
From academics to athletics to the daily decisions you’ve made to support one another, you’ve reflected the values of our Bear STRONG community. Whether it was staying focused in class, working through challenges, or being there for a friend, you’ve contributed to what it means to be part of Merced High—Building STRONG Scholars and Champions.
This year had its challenges, but you stayed focused and worked through them with determination—and that made a difference.
To our 9th–11th grade Bears, enjoy a restful and safe summer—you’ve earned it. I can’t wait to see what you bring to campus next year.
To the Class of 2025—thank you for the impact you’ve made at Merced High. As you move on to what’s next, take what you’ve learned here and keep pushing forward with integrity and focus. We’re proud of you and will be rooting for your continued success.
Have a great summer, Bears—and as always, stay Bear STRONG!
STRONGer Together,
Marcus A. Knott
