About Me:

I was born and raised here in the Verde Valley and I'm an alumnus of Mingus Union High School. My husband, Paul and I have three children, Lyla, Cara & Vinny. I attended Yavapai College and earned my Associate of Arts Degree in General Education. At that time, my plan was to get my Bachelor's Degree in education but my career took a different path and I obtained my degree in Applied Management from Grand Canyon University. I decided to pursue my teaching certificate in 2018 and completed the process in 2020. It is an honor to be back at Mingus teaching and making a difference in lives of students in our community. Although my path to teaching is different than most, I feel like I bring a unique perspective to the classroom.

In my free time, I enjoy reading books with my daughters, playing games, watching sports, going camping, and training for half marathons.
