Born in Iowa, I moved to the Verde Valley when I was five years old and have been here pretty much ever since. I went to elementary and middle school at Oak Creek School  and graduated from your very own Mingus Union High School. Once I graduated, I went to Yavapai College where I began studying Marketing. I soon realized, however, that education was my true calling. I moved to Missouri and attended Northwest Missouri State and began taking education classes. I guess I got a little homesick so I decided to move back to Arizona where I became a Lumberjack. From there, I would graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Education. I started my teaching career at Oak Creek School (my old stomping ground), where I taught for eight years. I then transferred to Cottonwood Middle School and taught an additional six years there. Now I am at wonderful Mingus and this is my fifth year here. As you get to know me you will realize that I am a fan of many, many things, comics, sports, movies, gaming, music, building model airplanes just to name a few. I am looking forward to another great school year and my door is always open for those of you that want to stop by and say hi.
