About Me

I am a Berks County native and proud of my Pennsylvania Dutch heritage.  I grew up in northern Berks County and graduated from Hamburg High School.  I went to Kutztown University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, Secondary Social Studies.  While at Kutztown, I spent half a semester at the College of St. Mark & St. John in Plymouth, England completing my student teaching experience.  Later I took courses at Immaculata College (now University) for my Family & Consumer Sciences certification.  I have a Master of Education degree from Cabrini University. 

The 2023-24 school year marks my 22nd year here at MHS and my 25th year in the classroom. 

I reside in Hamburg with my daughter Veronica, who is a Senior at Albright College, and my son Brayden, who is Senior at Hamburg High School.   

My hobbies include baking, sewing, reading, skiing, and watching my kids at their sports and music events.
