Higher Education Week in Imperial Valley is a week long event were College University Representatives get to meet with Imperial Valley High School Students as they prepare to start making decisions for their College and Career Future to apply in the Fall.
Because it's never too early to talk about college and career, we celebrate at the elementary and middle school level.

Red Ribbon Week: Be Kind to Your Mind- October 23rd-27th
Since its beginning in 1985, the Red Ribbon has touched the lives of millions of people around the world. In response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena, angered parents and youth in communities across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as a symbol of their commitment to raise awareness of the killing and destruction cause by drugs in America.

Inclusive Schools Week: December 5th-8th
This week is an opportunity to make sure we are including all our students and building friendships with students who may typically be isolated.
Last year, our Special Needs students and many of our general education students were trained in synergizing and leading their own Friendship Picnic. These students are our Leaders in Friendship.
