During this class students will work on custom projects/assignments on a variety of topics such as Computer Basics, and Digital Citizenship (Internet Safety, Privacy & Security, Relationships and Communications, Cyberbullying, Digital Footprint & Reputation, Creative Credit & Copyright), Information Literacy (How to conduct effective search and evaluate reliable sites for information.
Students will also use communication and collaboration tools such as, Google classroom and Google apps for education (G Suite) and they will create products using common desktop/cloud based productivity tools from Google, and other web-based and iPad applications.
The class will also devote time to develop and assess proper keyboarding habits such as straight posture, figures on home keys, all fingers in use as well as speed and accuracy.
