What have you learned this six weeks?

This six weeks Mrs. Huchton's class is learning about vowels and consonants. They learned how different letters make a short or long vowel sounds and that some letters are also diagraphs. Another thing they learned about is that certain letters can make more than one sound, some can even make three different sounds. The first grade students are really excited about learning new spelling words as well.
