Zhou research group

Welcome to Intelligent Structures and Dynamics Lab (ISDL) at Michigan Tech!

Our main purpose is to advance the state-of-the-art science and technologies to ensure engineering system/process safety and improve system/process in-service performance. The research interests include: (a). Structural health monitoring; (b). Machinery fault diagnosis and prognosis; (c). Uncertainty quantification of manufacturing processes; (d). Reliability analysis and robust design of dynamic systems. We aim to leverage the combination of advanced sensing, computational modeling, and machine learning empowered computational inference to pursue the success of the research.

Lab Location: S11 in MEEM Building
