The Geoheritage Summer Internship 

Participation in the Geoheritage Summer Internship provides students 15-18 years of age, who live in the Keweenaw Bay and Keweenaw Peninsula region, opportunities to develop skills in reading landscapes, local history and heritage, geology, and GIS technology. The internship will take place during two weeks in July, see details below. 

Students will receive a $1,000 stipend for participation in the internship. 

Note: You must participate in both weeks of the internship and complete all accompanying tasks to receive the stipend.
