We’re excited to announce that tickets for our Juniors’ Night will go on sale this week!!!
Starting Wednesday, tickets will be available for purchase in the auditorium before school. They will also be available in Rooms 507 and 510 throughout the day. You must purchase your ticket by Friday 5/7!!! Remote students interested in attending must reach out to the Class Officers by Friday!
Tickets are $130 and cover your admittance, dinner, dessert, entertainment, and more!
Tickets can be purchased with either cash or checks. Please make checks payable to Mount Sinai School District.
The ticket price is the same as a traditional prom due to the fact that we wanted our night to be as close to a traditional prom as possible— and we’re spending a lot of money to make sure it’s a great time for everyone!
Expect more details regarding our celebration to come out this week. Feel free to reach out to your Officers or Advisors with any questions!
The Mt. Sinai Class of 2022 will be hosting the first ever Juniors' Night at the High School on May 21, 2021. The night will take the place of Prom, and will be to celebrate the achievements of the Junior Class this past year.
All Juniors planning to attend must join our Class's Google Classroom.
Class Code: mtoo4zw
While details of the night are not yet set in stone (as everything requires administrative and BOE approval), here are a few ideas of what we hope to see:
Formal Attire: an opportunity for the Juniors to wear Dresses and Suits.
Red Carpet: Photo Opportunities throughout the night, including a livestreamed Red Carpet Event.
Banquet: Because dancing is currently not allowed under strict Covid guidelines, the night will be styled as a banquet rather than a dance. Dinner and Dessert will be served.
DJ & Music: The night will still be lively and enjoyable for all who attend!
Raffles, Prizes, and Gifts: We hope to see sponsors and members of the community contribute to make sure our Juniors' Night is as special as can be, and that students get to walk away with something special.
& Much More!: Further details will be provided as they become available.
We hope to see this night be just as amazing and as special as a traditional Prom! More details to follow. As always, reach out to Class Officers, Advisors, or our Prom Committee Chairwoman with any questions or concerns!
***Juniors must fill out the Juniors' Night Survey!
The Class of 2022 tied with the Class of 2021 this year in the annual Spirit Week competition that exists among the four classes in the High School. Points are calculated by counting the participation among students in each grade for each day's theme.
This year, the points from our Sinai Strong Week, held earlier in the school year, also counted towards the overall scores for Spirit Week.
On Friday afternoon, it was announced that both the Senior and Junior Classes had earned the most points, and that both classes tied for First Place!
Spirit Week has been delayed to accommodate for this week's Remote Learning. Rather than being held the week of 3/15, Spirit Week will be held one week later, starting on Monday, 3/22.
The Spirit Days are as follows:
Monday 3/22: Pajama Day
Tuesday 3/23: Twin / Triplet Day
**Wednesday 3/24: American Pride Day**
Thursday 3/25: Throwback Thursday
Friday 3/26: Grable Red & Black Day
** The Wednesday of Spirit Week will no longer be St. Patrick's Day. It has been changed to American Pride Day!
TShirt Orders and Payments will now be accepted until Tuesday 3/16 at 2pm. Please return forms to Rooms 507, 510, or to Class Officers. See our Class Resources page to print out a form!
The Junior Class had the opportunity to submit designs for our Class T-Shirts this week. We had over 20 amazing submissions! We are happy to announce that the winner is Victoria Mena! Her design can be seen pictured here, featuring several characters from Disney Pixar, our Class's Homecoming Theme.
T-Shirts are now on sale for $15! The order form can be found under our Class Resources tab! Forms and Payments must be turned in no later than 2:02pm THIS Friday 3/5!
Homecoming Committee will continue to meet in Room 510 afterschool on a daily basis. Reach out to your Class Officers with any questions.

Monday: Pajama Day
Tuesday: Twin / Triplet Day
Wednesday: St. Patrick's Day
Thursday: Throwback Thursday
Friday: Grable Red and Black Day
Homecoming Game: Friday @6pm
As of now, no spectators will be allowed at the game. Mustangs Live will be live streaming the event.
Unfortunately, there will be no Pep-Rally or Homecoming Parade this year. Our Class is working with Seniors, the Student Government, and advisors to make sure we get a Powder Puff Game! It all comes down to BOE approval. More information on Powder Puff will be available soon.
The Class of 2022 will be having Homecoming Committee meetings to design and decorate our Class Hallway!
Jr. Prom currently has no official date or approval, but we are planning and ready to go once we are given the "ok!" --THINGS ARE LOOKING GOOD!
Our Jr. Prom will take place outdoors at the Mt. Sinai High School. We are looking to bring in tents, lights, dance floors, a DJ, Food Trucks, and more to make sure this night is as great as it can be! There are still plans for a Red Carpet before the Prom for family and friends.
More information will be released as it comes.
