Coach Linnen

Coach Linnen has been coaching for over 20 years. She is a retired professional track and field athlete, NCAA national champion and collegiate record holder. She is a former Mt. Sinai Mustang and has been teaching and coaching at Mt. Sinai since 2010.

Before coaching at Mt. Sinai Linnen has worked as a graduate assistant at Johnson County Community College, the University of Kansas and SUNY Cortland. As a collegiate athlete she competed for the University of Arizona and was crowned a national champion in 2002. In 2004, she transferred to the University of Kansas. This is where she finished out her collegiate career and ended it on a high note by securing another national title in 2005. In 2004, she was ranked 4th in the world and continued to train for the 2008 Olympics. She trained at the University of Hawaii for two years and worked and trained with some of the worlds best athletes and coaches. She has a wealth of knowledge and is passionate about sharing it with her athletes and students.

Coach Linnen specializes in running mechanics, programming, goal setting, mobility, recovery, strength and conditioning.
