Hello! My name is Mrs. Amanda Seigel and I will be your child's teacher for the 2023-2024 school year, here at Orchard Hill Elementary School. I am so incredibly excited to get to know you and your child, and wanted to share a little bit about myself, as well.
This will be my twelfth year teaching, my fifth year as an Autism teacher, and my second year teaching at Orchard Hill Elementary School. I began my career in education, teaching 5th and 6th grade Language Arts in a general education setting. Then, four years ago, I transitioned to a new role, as a special education teacher. My educational training (outlined below) consists of coursework related to teaching in both, general and special education settings, as well as applied behavior analysis.
