Summer reading assignment: Please read A Thousand Splendid Suns written by Khaled Hosseini. Be prepared on the first day of school to be asked to provide a written response to questions that will count as your first graded assessment. These questions will not be provided until school begins.
The World Studies course is a full-year course intended for all freshmen. It will fulfill the New Jersey graduation requirement of a one-year study of World History. The course begins with the Italian Renaissance and concludes with an overview of the issues of the 21st century.
United States History II is a full-year course intended for juniors. It aims to meet New Jersey Core Content Standards to prepare students to be active participants in the 21st century.
