Welcome to AP Calculus AB. . This course is essentially a first semester college class! I am looking forward to knowing and working with you this year. Communication is the key! Don’t be shy to ask questions, share your thoughts and ideas, and participate in class. I will be available to help you as needed, however, most of the responsibility for your success falls on you. Make sure to reach out when you need help and spend time really understanding the topic. My goal is to help my students to make them successful. We will be working towards essential skills like critical thinking, empathy, creativity, teamwork, decision-making, self-awareness, and social emotional learning. !
A graphing calculator is required (TI-83 or TI-84 is preferred) - see AP classroom for the AP Exams Calculator Policy
BYOD - In class I will occasionally ask you to be on a wi-fi enabled device (a tablet or laptop are preffered over a phone)
An organized notebook/binder
