Hello Wonderful Students and Families,

My name is Mrs. Resta, and I am very excited to meet you all this year! I can't wait to explore and learn new things together.

Here are some things to know about me. I live right here in Montgomery. I received a BA in Early Childhood Education in 1993 and began teaching Kindergarten at Busy Bee Nursery & Kindergarten School soon thereafter.  I taught Kindergarten and First Grade in South Brunswick for ten years prior to raising my two children in Montgomery!

Between then and now, I've been a volunteer in Monty schools, a girl scout leader, a cheerleading coach, a substitute teacher, a paraprofessional, taught two replacement leaves in First Grade and Kindergarten, and I'm back to teaching Kindergarten full time (All in Montgomery.) 

I love yoga, reading, science and nature walks, bike rides in the woods and on trails, theater and dance (both in my background,) my two cats, Lola & Willow, and trying new healthy recipes! I love to try new and healthy foods. I love chocolate, chips, coffee and tea as well. I can't wait to get to know each of you!

I am looking forward to lots of communication through emails, conferences, Class Dojo, and newsletters, to ensure a successful year for your child.

I am committed to a great year, and helping each student grow individually and creatively while providing a fun and nurturing environment.
