United States History II aims to meet New Jersey Core Content Standards to prepare students to be active participants in the 21st century.

This course is designed to give the student an understanding of the theory and practice of the legal system in the United States, with a focus on Civil Law. The subject matter will be presented from the perspective of a person who may be interested in studying law and may need the services of a lawyer.
The course will teach students to understand how the legal system works in the United States. How laws are created, how they are enforced, and how it is used to settle personal disputes. We will also explore how legal violations are punished and remedied in the courts. Finally, we will examine our daily interactions with the civil legal system and how to be prepared as a consumer in a legal sense. All class material will be distributed to the student via the google classroom
This course familiarizes students with the major features of the entrepreneurial process and the skills required to become an entrepreneur. E-Commerce is one of the fastest growing types of business in the world and students will learn about its history, impact, career potential, and basics of website development. Also, students will learn how to make financial decisions that impact the self, the family, and the local and global communities.
In this semester course, students will learn about the game development process. They will be introduced to game design and creation software which will allow them to create many different types of games and applications including action, adventure and puzzle. This is a course for students with prior programming experience. As students build games and applications both individually and in teams, they learn strong problem solving, analytical and programming skills. It draws a wide range of disciplines including math, art and computing. All students with varying abilities have the potential to succeed in this dynamic technology endeavor.
This course will engage students in a project-based curriculum that teaches the application development process starting with an overview of how to design an application and continuing through the creation process to sound, music and graphics. Major markets exist for serious application builders in the fields of military, education, government, corporations and hospitals. Learning game design and implementation develops planning, thinking, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in students. It provides students with the ability to compete in these high paying fields. It is necessary in the 21st century to obtain these highly desirable skills and apply them to real world applications
This course familiarizes students with the major features of the Marketing process in the field of sports and entertainment. Students will develop the skills required to understand how to market professional and semi-professional sports teams. Sports and entertainment marketing is one of the fastest growing business sectors in the United States and students will learn about its history, impact, and career potential. Also, students will learn how to make financial decisions that impact their self, the team, the players and the local and global communities.
This course familiarizes students with the major features of the JAVA programming environment. During this course, students will develop sound skills in java application development, which will enable them to design and develop java programs. This course will help the students to develop an understanding of many important concepts of computer science and this course is the prerequisite for AP Computer Science.
