Overview of the Course:
United States History I is a year-long course offered to sophomores which examines the American experience from the impact of the Declaration of Independence through World War I, with an emphasis on the forces and institutions which shaped our multi-faceted growth. The goal of this course is for students to develop the ability to apply their insights into the past to deal with issues they face presently and in the future.
