Waiver Process
(For Eligible Students in Math 5, Math 6, & Math 6 Integrated)
If a student's Formula Score is between 87-89, teachers will reach out to parents by email with an option to waive their child into the accelerated class. Please know that students who waive into an accelerated class may require extra time practicing and working with the math content next year.
We continue to commend our math teachers on their superior efforts in standards aligned differentiated instruction, data collection, and communication. Please respect all of their work in these areas as it is important to us to have academic placements be the most successful.
