    • In Health class we discussed the importance of understanding that bullies are acting from an insecure place. We talked about the importance of reporting bullying and being assertive to ensure we are being part of the "solution" rather than the problem.
    • Students were encouraged to discuss their feelings honestly with family, close friends, and teachers to ensure people are being treated respectfully.
  • Disease Prevention Reminders -
    • Wash hands - Sing happy birthday while you wash!
    • Stay active - Studies show that moderate exercise can reduce the number of cold and flu symptoms by 25-50%.
    • Get plenty of sleep
    • Eat a healthy and balanced diet
    • Avoid touching your face
