Dear Families,
Now that we've completed our first full week together, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.
My name is Jordan Conroy, and I'm your child's 8th grade social studies teacher here at Upper Middle School. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in History and Psychology from William Paterson University, and a Master's degree in History from the University of North Alabama. I have a distinct love and passion for all history and social studies, and I hope our students can build a love for history in their own ways over the course of us working together.
My classroom rules are posted on Google Classroom, as are all materials we use throughout the assignments, so I promise students will always have access to notes and study materials they need to be as successful as possible.
I believe communication between home and school is important. Please feel free to reach out if you have questions or concerns about your child's progress. You can email me at jconroy@mtsd.us and I typically respond within 48 hours on school days. As the marking period begins to come to a close, I am hoping that all our students finish strong and start even stronger come the beginning of the third marking period.
