Snack

Please refrain from snacks containing tree nuts and peanuts in the ingredients. Room 113 is a nut-free classroom.

Birthdays

Students can bring in a picture book from home or choose one from the VES library for our read aloud that day. If a birthday falls on a weekend or holiday, we will find another day to celebrate. We will honor summer birthdays in June. Students are welcome to bring their classmates a small token/prize (non-edible) if they choose to on their special day.

Instruments

Students will leave the classroom for their band and orchestra lessons. It is their responsibility to remember to bring their instruments to school on their scheduled lesson day. Usually students only miss a portion of the academic period while at lessons. They usually have time during the day to catch up on any missed assignments.
