WELCOME TO MY CLASS!

I am ecstatic to be on the 6th grade LMS red team. I will be teaching language arts and math by myself, however I will be working with Mrs. Montemarano for social studies and Mrs. Powers for science.

WHAT WILL WE LEARN?

• In language arts, each student will be using the ARC Program at their own rate and working to achieve their individual goals.

• In math, each student will be learning about rational numbers, fractions, integers, numeric and algebraic expressions, equations, ratios, percent, geometry, statistics and working to achieve their individual goals.

• In social studies, each student will be learning about prehistory, Ancient Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome.

• In science, each student will be learning about science as practice, space systems, weather and climate, and Earth's dynamic systems.

AFTER-SCHOOL HELP

• Wednesdays: 3:10pm-4:10pm

About Me:

• I grew up in New Jersey.

• I am half Czech and half Egyptian.

• I am the younger sibling and I have one older sister.

• My birthday is September 7th.

• I attended Rutgers University for Undergraduate and Graduate School where I studied Psychology, Elementary Education, and Special Education.

• I am a volunteer firefighter.

• One of my hobbies is rescuing and fostering dogs.

• I have two dogs - Monty and Gracie.

• I love traveling.

• I snowboard.

• My favorite seasons are spring and summer.
