1 - Get ready for registration

Ensure you've activated your MyMRU account

You must activate your MyMRU account before you can register for courses.

Pay your Registration Deposit

Pay your $125 non-refundable Registration Deposit (per semester) to register for the fall and winter semesters through MyMRU > Register & Pay > Pay Deposits and select Registration Deposit. No deposit is required to register for the spring or summer semester.

Find your Registration Access Date

Your Registration Access Date is the first day you can register for classes for a specific semester. You will be assigned a registration access date after you have paid your registration deposit. Starting the first Monday in March, find your potential registration access date by visiting MyMRU > Register & Pay > Registration Access Date.

2 - Get Registered

Review your guide

Review your program planning guide to see which course you need to register in. If you have questions about the guide, email hceadvising@mtroyal.ca, including your student ID, or book an advising appointment.

Build your schedule

Once you've reviewed your requirements, you can plan your schedule for the whole year in advance.

Registration peer support

Need help registering for your courses? The Registration Peer Program offers peer support for navigating MyMRU and troubleshooting common registration issues. All questions on what to register for should be directed to Advising.

Where: Virtual (booking link) or in-person drop-in at D101.

3 - Pay Your Fees

Fee payment options

Mount Royal offers several ways to pay your fees. Choose the option that works best for you and make sure your deposits, tuition and mandatory fees are paid by the posted deadlines. Fee payment deadlines can be found in the Academic Calendar
