This lab session will be completed following step-by-step instructions:
Access the A4.1 List of Products
Select a product and cross it off the list.
Enter your name next to your chosen product in the list.
Visit the Sustainability Framework page on the website.
Review it to understand the product evaluation criteria.
Look at the sample Carpet EPD provided, including instructor comments and mark-ups.
Use Material Bank, EC3 Tool, or OneClick LCA database to find a valid EPD for your product.
Download a copy of the EPD.
Take notes and summarize key findings.
With the example as a guide, transfer your EPD summary notes to the Sustainable Product Assessment report.
Add a hyperlink to the EPD report.
Delete any sample content and ensure all information is relevant.
Use details from the Sustainable Product Assessment report and your understanding of the Product Sustainability Framework to complete the Product Performance Evaluation Template for your select product.

Based on your Product Performance Evaluation, choose an appropriate 5-star rating template from the A4.1 Lab Package to include in your Sustainable Product Assessment.
