Intergenerational Speaker Series
Are you interested in lifelong learning and meeting new people?
This series offers informative, in-person speaker events that are designed to spark conversation and connection across generations.
The Intergenerational Speaker Series (IGSS) offers informative programs that are unique and engaging. This series will encourage members of all generations, older and younger adults, in particular, to foster relationships as they learn and share life experiences. It aims to counteract the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by creating accessible, affordable experiences within a community setting.
Older adults who participate will be given the opportunity to interact with younger adults, one that extends beyond family and acquaintances. IGSS intends to provide participants with the chance to create meaningful relationships, develop skills, obtain knowledge and connect with others outside of their generational demographics.
