This month we have chosen six amazing black artists and writers to spotlight, most with a Pittsburgh connection! The artists all have artwork currently displayed in Pittsburgh at places including the Carnegie Museum of Art and The August Wilson African American Cultural Center! And of course we are looking at world famous Pulitzer Prize winner August Wilson in our trio of authors spotlighted this month. Wilson's plays almost exclusively take place in Pittsburgh.
