This club will act as a program to organize instrumental lessons at the middle schools. The goal is to instill a passion for music in students at a young age and inspire them to continue with their instruments. There will be large group meetings once a semester. Nitroball is a fun and easy sport that anyone can play. It’s a non contact sport similar to volleyball that is easy to pick up. Come prepared wearing sneakers and comfortable clothes. Each member will make a team of 2-4 and participate in biweekly games and monthly tournaments.

Students meet once a week to test their knowledge in astronomy, biology, chemistry, earth science, energy, mathematics, and physics. We typically compete in these three annual events: Department of Energy Western PA Science Bowl, Pittsburgh Brain Bee, and the National Ocean Sciences Bowl.

Science Olympiad is a team competition in which students collaboratively participate in 23 events across various STEM disciplines, including earth and space science, biology, chemistry, physics, forensics, engineering, and experimental design. Some events are written tests, while other involved building Rube Goldberg devices or balsa planes or 3D models of proteins, and others are hands-on lab tasks. Qualifying students will have a chance to compete at the regional, state, and national levels.
